AegisGuard Radiation Shields - The Necessary Accessory
5 Hz. To 2.6 GHz.

Identical tests were conducted by three independent laboratories with and without AegisGuard™ Radiation Shields installed. The following table chronologically presents the products tested using ASTM D4935-99 procedures and beginning in 2002, each product was tested for not less than a continuous 8 hour period. The test period for AegisGuard™ LP Radiation Shields mixed with primer and applied to homes was 1 continuous year.

The maximum frequency tested using this procedure was 2.6 GHz and the maximum output power levels tested were in accordance with the specifications presented for each AegisGuard™ shielding product. Click here for test information at higher frequencies.

Additional Wireless Product Test Equipment
All wireless product test results and measurements were derived using base station type antennas to duplicate actual radiation emissions in a real-world environment. Click here for AegisGuard™ Radiation Shield test information at frequencies above 2.6 GHz.

A spectrum analyzer was positioned exactly 1.0 meter (39.37 inches) from the antenna of each phone, the front panel of each radio modem and each headset earpiece tested to simulate the highest possible output power conditions. The radio modems were connected back to back without antennas using a 36 inch (approximately 1 meter) 'N' type coaxial cable with Narda 370 BN 50 OHM attenuators on each end and a Narda 771-20 'N' type pad for testing. A Bird 43 with 5E element RF Wattmeter was used to confirm the 5 watt output power.
